Grand Aunt-Uncle

Taking cuttings from Dragon Fruit tree

We visited our Grand Aunt-Uncle in Yorba Linda today, and they gave us a taste of the most delicious Dragon Fruit we’ve ever had, freshly picked from their garden. This climbing cactus is one of the most beautiful and wide spread members of the Cactaceae family. The magnificent night blooming white flowers can be up to 14 inches in diameter. The Dragon Fruit is a natural antioxidant that is known to fight cancer and heart disease, so our grand uncle, Ong Chu Thong, gave us some cuttings to plant in our garden.
